Renewed Provision

“Do you not know? Have you not heard?

The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth

Does not become weary or tired.

His understanding is unsearchable.

He gives strength to the weary,

And to the one who lacks might He increases power.

Though youths grow weary and tired,

And vigorous young men stumble badly,

Yet those who wait for the Lord

Will gain new strength;

They will mount up with wings like eagles,

They will run and not get tired,

They will walk and not become weary.” – Isaiah 40:28-31 (NASB)

Aren’t you so thankful that God isn’t human? Aren’t you so thankful that His creation can’t figure out the vastness of Who He is? How weak God would be if creation could surpass the knowledge and understanding of their Creator. God is not vulnerable to human limitations.

Even the strongest people get tired and wearisome at times, but the strength and power of God never diminishes or fades. God never slumbers or sleeps... He never grows weary. He is never too tired to hear the voices and cries of His children, who’ve turned to Him for help.

When life wears us down and feels crushing, God’s Word promises that He’ll renew our strength. He is a God who gives good and concrete gifts that enable us to flourish: strength, power, rest. Our role is to trust Him, to turn from our own ways and call upon Him. Our role is to let Him be God, and for us to surrender as the creation that we are… wonderfully and fearfully made in His image - we can trust our Creator with all that we need. Enduring patience to trust in Him, will result in Him carrying us through life’s difficulties. His provision is for His plans to be fulfilled through us; leading us to the best that He has for us.

Are you postured to receive the provision that He has for you today?
