Power to Act

Anyone else think it’s easy to talk ourselves into being insignificant? Taking the negative route when speaking of the impact we could have... Allowing our minds to be led astray with thoughts like …. “Who am I to do that?”

“What could I possibly do to change this?”

“Why would anyone care if I...”

Not only do we have the power to speak significance, Truth, and confidence to our own hearts, souls, minds, and bodies...we also hold power to speak truth and life into others.

We hold the power to see others.

Love others.

Bless others.

What this looks like from day-to-day, and person-to-person, can be vastly different.

The beauty shows up in the power we have within us...

To be.

To help.

To listen.

To provide.

To pray.

“Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act.” - Proverbs 3:27

Let’s be on the lookout for opportunities when the power in us to do good, will ignite the hope in others.

“Father God, thank you that You saw fit to place me in this time of history, in the sphere of influence You’ve place me, with the power to take action. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that lives in me, guiding me and stretching me to be more like Jesus - giving me power and significance beyond myself. Help me to see, love and bless others, as You would have me do. Keep my heart tender and my hands open - ready to do Your will. Thank you for choosing me. Amen.”
