“So we must not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.” – Galatians 6:9 (HCSB)
Our enemy is after our faith. He’s tries to place doubt, consume us with fear, and fill us with lies. His tactics are the same over and over: he uses whatever avenue he can to try and take us out. He’s relentless in his schemes and if he can’t shake our faith, he seems to settle for wearing us out – making us feel too tired to keep going. Exhausted by doing what God’s put on our hearts to do, he tries to hold us down in the pit of our own limited strength.
But we have a God!
A God who doesn’t bend to the manipulation and disfunction of the enemy, and a God so powerful that He gives us strength to rise above, when the enemy reminds us of our weakness.
“My grace is sufficient for you. For my power is made perfect in weakness.”
– 2 Corinthians 12:9
So what is it in your life that the enemy is working overtime to get you to do…or not do?
Are you able to see through his lies? Calling out his lack of authority over your life and standing on the firm foundation of Truth.
We can do all things through Christ who gives us perfect strength. (ref. Philippians 4:13). Strength that encourages us to not give up. Strength that empowers us to keep standing when we feel like we’ve been knocked around, or even knocked down. The power that we behold in the name of Jesus, allows us to keep getting back up over and over again. And as we lean on Him to keep going and carry us through, He gives us a promise. In just the right time, the proper time, we will reap the harvest that He has planned for us, and no one – no devil or person on earth - will be able to stop what He has destined for us.
Claim it today sisters, because of Jesus I’m not giving up!
Thank you for this! Not giving up.
