“I could never forget all your miracles, my God,
as I remember all your wonders of old.
I ponder all you’ve done, Lord, musing on all your miracles.
It’s here in your presence, in your sanctuary,
where I learn more of your ways,
for holiness is revealed in everything you do.
Lord, you’re the one and only, the great and glorious God!
Your display of wonders, miracles, and power
makes the nations acknowledge you.” -Psalm 77:11-14
We have a very real, live, enemy who is on the prowl - not only looking to hinder anyone from accepting the gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ, but he is also looking to steal, kill and destroy (ref. John 10:10) any and all Christians from fulfilling what God has planned for their lives. Revelation 12:10 tells us that satan is before the courts of Heaven accusing the followers of Jesus, day and night. He is relentless in his pursuit of destruction. And even though we know that Jesus holds the victory, we are still bookmarked in this space of time dealing with the pain and destruction that he is throwing at us until Jesus returns and deals with satan once and for all. What this means for many us in the throes of satan’s fiery darts, is plain and simple: we need a miracle!
Are you, or someone you know, in need of a miracle?
When all seems impossible, we can so easily succumb to fear - looking at the potential devastation of what’s waiting just around the corner. But it’s the impossible that sets the stage for a miracle. Over and over again in the Scriptures we see God redeem what satan meant for destruction.
“With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” – Matthew 19:26
God is our hope! When the situation seems bleak, He is the one who holds all power. He is the Miracle Worker we so need to move into our personal circumstance and bring about what He alone can do.
Join me in praying for the ones we know need a miracle today. Join me in standing in the gap between the pain they are up against and the power of God Who is the true Miracle Worker – Who, with one word, can completely change their situation!
“Lord let Heaven come to earth and Your will be done, over-turning the impossible. We renounce the schemes of the enemy, in the name of Jesus. We ask you, Father, to move the mountains that are in front us. We believe that You alone are the Miracle Worker and we give You all glory and praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
