It Will Be

“The LORD of Heaven’s Armies has sworn this oath:

It will all happen as I have planned.

It will be as I have decided.” – Isaiah 14:24

There is such freedom in trusting the Lord God with His plans. We can’t see the end from the beginning - only He can! His ways are higher than our ways… our choice is whether to trust Him with our lives…with all the details.

There is peace in surrendering to His will. Acknowledging that He is Sovereign. Always Sovereign! The peace flows when we hand over our desires to Him – asking for His plans to be unveiled and directing us to His perfect will for our lives.

Regardless of what we’re clinging to have control over, or that we’re anxious about…whether emotional stress, financial uncertainties, job security, political views, family dynamics… when we cling to Him, He directs us. He calms us. He strengthens us. He fights on our behalf. He is the One Who is fully in control. Ultimately, He will succeed at fulfilling His plans. While the enemy will not stop his mission to steal, kill and destroy, until the Son of Man returns to earth, we must always remember that Jesus defeated satan through the death, burial, and resurrection. We sometimes forget the importance and significance of this, as we go about our day-to-day…. Jesus wins! Every time! We already know the end of the story.

What God has ordained to be, will be! We need to cling to the victory that we have in the name of Jesus. Hold tight to the promise of this victory, especially while the time and days of our lives play out…. We will one day see the full Victory play out. But until we see Jesus face to face, let’s grasp onto the peace that He gives us. The peace that is like no other. The peace the Holy Spirit stirs within us as we choose to believe. Choose to trust. Choose to wait upon Him.

Breathe in – I abandon my ways for Your ways.

Breathe out – I trust Your plans will abound.

Breathe in – I repent for trying to figure it all out on my own.

Breathe out – I choose to follow You wherever You lead me.

Breathe in – I relinquish my fear to You Lord.

Breathe out – I receive Your peace.

Our God is in control.
