In the Stillness

“Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalm 46:10

When we meet Him in the stillness,

We find Peace.

When we focus on Him,

We find Love.

When we lay the chaos of our circumstance at His feet,

We find Purpose.

When we confess our transgressions,

We find Grace.

When we recount with praise the works of His hands,

We find Joy.

When we express our devotion to follow Him,

We find Faith.

When we petition our requests before Him,

We find Trust.

When we desire His will to be done in our lives,

We find Hope.

When we still our hearts to listen,

We find Him.

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:13

In every moment He is there. In the stillness His voice is the clearest. In the stillness we know Him, even as we are fully known. As we seek Him, we find Him – it’s a promise! To the extent that we seek Him, is the degree to which we will find Him.

May we be women who actively seek Him will all our heart. May we trust Him in all circumstances, knowing He is Faithful to His Word and He will accomplish everything that He said He would do.
