What a great verse!
Anyone need the reminder today, that God is with you? He’s in your midst.
For all who believe that Jesus died for us on account of our sins and rose again, we carry around the Spirit and power in us that raised Christ from the dead. This should keep us in a state of awe… every single day! This is amazing!
He saves us! There is something so comforting to my heart knowing that we have a God who not only is Mighty but is a Warrior. Recognizing His strength - His might and power - makes me feel safe, knowing I can rest in the security of His love.
And as if all that wasn’t great enough, we serve a God who takes great delight in us! He rejoices over us with singing! That brings me such joy knowing that our Creator delights in His creation.
He sings!
In the original language, the phrase “over thee with singing” is defined as: a shout of joy; a proclamation of rejoicing; singing in triumph. [ref.blueletterbible.org]
Isn’t that beautiful? God sings over us in triumph!
It is my hope that this verse would not only make you smile, but that it would remind you to experience the joy of the Lord today! You are seen by your Heavenly Father. His Spirit is with you and there is nowhere you could go to escape His presence or His love. He rejoices over you with gladness. He will calm you to a state of quiet and will shower you with His love. And dear sister, He rejoices over you with singing!
