Ecstatic Joy

“Your magnificent splendor and the miracles of Your majesty

are my constant meditation.

Your awe-inspiring acts of power have everyone talking!

I’m telling people everywhere about Your excellent greatness!

Our hearts bubble over as we celebrate the fame

of Your marvelous beauty, bringing bliss to our hearts.

We shout with ecstatic joy over Your breakthrough for us.” – Psalm 145:5-7

How would you describe how Jesus has changed your life?

The love, kindness, and goodness of Jesus and what He’s done for us, should be what anchors the rest of our lives. We should be ready with reason to express how Jesus has changed us. First Peter 3:15 reminds us to “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” This should be an easy task for us! The words should bubble out of our changed hearts and flow with excitement out of our mouths, because Jesus is the anchor that holds us together.

The One who redeems and restores.

The One who moves in power and majesty.

The One who mesmerizes us with His love.

The One who replaces our hearts of stone with a heart like His.

May Jesus be the splendor that wakes us up as the sun rises each morning. May Jesus be our constant in the storms of life. May Jesus be the One we run to with every single victory, frustration and heartache. May the power of Jesus be present in our lives as we trust Him with our plans, and all the unknowns that we face. May the love of Jesus captivate us to desire Him more and more. May our lives be a celebration of joy, ecstatic that we know Him, and He knows us. May Jesus be the constant meditation of our hearts.
