Demonstration of Wonder

“You are the God of great wonders!

You demonstrate your awesome power among the nations.” – Psalm 77:14

I believe that God is always speaking to us. He is continually drawing us, to enter into communion with Him. And He can use anyone and any circumstance to get our attention, in order for us to see that there’s more to life than we’ve seen or realized.

His love for us goes beyond our capacity to understand. And He has, and continues to, go to great lengths to show us just how much He loves us. He is constantly pursuing us.

Even in the midst of the craziest storms of life, He shows up - like in the wind, whispering to our hearts to trust His leading to bring us to solid ground. There is no place that we can hide that He can’t find us. No place that He wouldn’t go to carry us out of.

Even in the mundane, in the normalcies of our everyday lives, He is devoted to show us how Faithful He is. Showing us that He’s with us in the simple, unseen, unacknowledged moments, where He teaches us the assurance of His goodness and the potential of what He can do when we surrender the little of what’s in our hands.

The vast beauty of creation alone speaks of such love. Nature reveals signs and wonders around us each day that are wonderful demonstrations of His existence and the power of His love. Such amazing displays of the supernatural artistry of our Creator.

While we can easily miss how and when God is speaking to us, if we’re not paying attention or if we don’t understand His voice. He doesn’t give up – He is relentless in showing up in our lives each day. Gracing us with a pathway towards what He has planned next for us. God’s greatest demonstration of love was through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, and this message will reign supreme to all others. And the amazing thing is, He invites us to be living demonstrations of His wonder, revealing to others how Jesus has, and is still, changing us. How He’s awakened us to new life in Him.

Responsive Prayer:

“Lord, give me eyes to see Your Wonder. Give me ears to hear every single way that You’re speaking to me. Let me be in awe of the many demonstrations of your power and your love that I encounter each day – everything from nature, to words in Scripture, to songs that echo melodies of Your goodness. I don’t want to miss any of it, God! You are awesome in all of

Your ways, and I desire to praise You, for You are worthy of all praise. Your grace is indescribable. Your presence is captivating. May my life be a living demonstration - a message of Your grace - that ignites wonder and awe in others around me. In Jesus’ name, amen!”
