“We’re not keeping this quiet, not on your life. Just like the psalmist who wrote, “I believed it, so I said it,” we say what we believe. And what we believe is that the One who raised up the Master Jesus will just as certainly raise us up with you, alive. Every detail works to your advantage and to God’s glory: more and more grace, more and more people, more and more praise!” – 2 Corinthians 4:13-15(Msg)
God’s grace has always been on the move – a plan ordained before the foundation of the world! (ref. Revelation 13:8) His Spirit continually at work to draw people to Himself. He is near, responsive, and always drawing us to the best way forward. And it all starts for us with faith!
I love Paul’s words to the church in Corinth, as he reminds them of what’s at stake and what’s in store. Lives are at stake! Eternity is in store!
He draws purpose to our faith. There are people who don’t yet know of the grace of the cross and the love of their Creator. As believers in Jesus, our lives carry this great purpose. And like Paul echoes the faith of the Psalmist, so should our lives as well.
If we believe it, then we should say it!
The message of Jesus has been entrusted to us to carry everywhere – to bring life to others and glory to God! The Spirit of God enables us to trust Him… and as we trust Him with where to go, what to do, and who to stop and speak to, our obedience to His leading partners with Him to bring Salvation to others.
Our voice matters!
Our faith matters!
Our praise to God for all He has done in and through us, matters!
May we be women, who carry the faith like the Psalmist. The faith like Paul. And speak out the Truth of Jesus. May we decide to not keep quiet about all God has done for us.
